Dwarka: Attention Dwarka people, the 5 acre Moghul Garden at sector-22, Dwarka has been recently renovated. As spring is just around the corner, and the outdoors have become comfortable, Dwarka citizens have finally got some time to enjoy the pleasant weather. Since the start of this week, running and walking at the park have increased.
The park we are talking about is located behind Sadbhavana Apartments, Sector 22, Dwarka. This park is not only nicely managed but also very aesthetically landscaped so that you can enjoy your visit here to the fullest and leave with a pleasing feeling. The park is maintained by DDA and Sukh Dukh Ke Satthi, a body of senior citizens active in Dwarka working to improve various aspects of Dwarka neighborhood.
As of now with full spring bloom, the park has a perfect spot to click pictures with different seasonal flowers, such as poinsettia, Dahlia, daisy, butterfly bush, yarrow, marigold, and blue gerbera. The park provides great avenues to fitness enthusiasts for performing yoga, jogging, and exercises. The park has amenities like a jogging track, and a children's play area, which makes it an alluring place for people of all ages.
When asked about the park PK Dutta, a Dwarka resident and nature lover, says, “Thanks to the team of Sukh Dukh Ke Saathi. Special thanks to S S Mann for his untiring efforts in visualizing his green dream. with the help of the Horticulture Department."
RK Jain, a resident of Dwarka, says, “I visited the park on weekend with my friend. It is beautiful and is well-maintained. Also, dedicated staff was there working. Keep doing the good work. We have decided to have a picnic there.”
SS Maan, Vice president of Sukh Dukh Ke Saathi, says, “It’s been 5-6 years of hard work by all the team of SDKS along with DDA, Horticulture department. I myself have devoted my time to making this park beautiful and I’m happy that now it is well-maintained and people can come and have fun in this park.”
