Supertech Emerald RWA request to adopt green belt

The RWA of Supertech Emerald society has requested Noida Authority to adopt the green belt located outside along with the society. The residents raised the issue of the poor condition of the green belt in the meeting with DD RWA on March 7, 2022.

On December 21, 2021, the RWA had written a letter to the CEO, Noida Authority on the adaptation of the green belt.

As per residents, Noida Authority had taken the responsibility of maintaining the green belt after the twin tower demolition judgement. (which was earlier with the RWA). Residents share that they are not happy with the maintenance of the green belt. They allege that commercial activities have damaged the green belt. As a result now they would like to adopt it to bring it back to its original green state.

Uday Bhan Singh Teotia, president RWA of Emerald Court informed that the RWA has submitted a request to Noida Authority seeking permission.

While seeking permission for the adoption of the green belt, RWA Emerald Court has assured that the maintenance team of the society will leave no stones unturned in keeping the green belt in the best condition possible. RWA shared that once they adopt the green belt, it will not be used for any other purpose except for horticulture-related development.

He says, "We want to adopt the green belt. We will develop the green belt and maintain it as we used to. The condition of the green belt has deteriorated after being taken by the Noida Authority."

Sanjeev Kumar, Vice President, DD RWA says, "Supertech Emerald has been our member for many years. They are facing many issues due to the demolition of the twin towers. The demolition will also affect the green belt. Society should adopt the green belt for its development. DD RWA is with the Supertech Emerald RWA in this decision."
