Residents of Noida celebrate Holi with 'Purvanchal Ekta Manch'

Holi celebrations kickstarted in Noida on Sunday, March 13, 2022, as NEFOWA (Noida Extension Flat Owners Welfare Association) and Purvanchal Ekta Manch organised 'Holi Milan Samaroh'. Residents of Noida became a part of this Holi celebration which was organised at Divine Farms, Noida extension.

In the event, Holi was celebrated with colours and flowers. Several games were also organized for children. Everyone participated in the event with fervour and enthusiasm.

Abhishek Kumar, the organizer of this event and President of Purvanchal Ekta Manch says, “We all are feeling rejuvenated by meeting all our friends, colleagues after a gap of two long years."

Naval Kishore, General Secretary of Purvanchal Ekta Manch says, “More than one thousand people from more than 70 societies participated in this program. Everyone was full of energy. We look forward to celebrating such more ceremonies together with the people of Noida”.

Rohan Bhagat, a member of the organising committee says, "We have been working non-stop for the past one month and today it gives us immense pleasure to see our efforts giving so much joy to everyone. We will keep celebrating such festivals together".

Ranjana Suri Bhardwaj, Vice President of NEFOWA says, “Today we feel extremely good and happy seeing all people from different societies coming together to celebrate Holi. For so long we all have been celebrating such festivals alone.”

A Kavi Sammelan was also organised in the event. Comic poets such as Shambhu Shikhar, Chetan Charchit, Padmini Sharma among others performed in the kavi sammelan and left audience laughing.

Many distinguished guests of the area marked their presence in the program, including Gautam Buddha Nagar MP Dr Mahesh Sharma, Farmer leader Manveer Bhati, Principal of DWPS Jyoti Arora, Supreme Court Advocate Kumar Mihir, Ghaziabad AOA Federation's Alok Kumar, NEFOVA Vice President Rahul Garg and other dignitaries attended and enjoyed this joyous event.
