GreNo: Synthetic athletic track and FOBs to be installed soon

Greater Noida: The Greater Noida Authority has floated tenders for the construction of Foot overbridges and synthetic athletic ground for players at Greater Noida Sports Complex.

Based on the survey report of Engineering Services Company RITES, the traffic consultant agency of Greater Noida Authority has decided to build FOBs at three places. These three places are on Surajpur-Kasna road in front of the Collectorate office, near Jagat Farm and Ishaan Institute, and opposite Kailash Hospital. Nearly Rs 4.70 crores have been allotted to built foot overbridges (FOBs).

The tenders have been floated for the construction of FOBs. Applications can be made for the tender of FOB from March 16 to March 29, 2022. The pre-qualification bids will be opened on 31st March.

Lift facilities will also be available in all the three-foot over bridges. Once the construction starts, it will take three months to complete. Greater Noida Authority CEO Narendra Bhushan has instructed the project department to complete the tender process of all these three lifts and finish the project on time.

Moreover, synthetic athletic tracks will soon be installed in the sports complex of Greater Noida. On the instructions of the CEO of Greater Noida Authority, Narendra Bhushan, the project department has issued a tender for this. It will be an IAAF-certified synthetic track. About Rs, 1.27 crore will be spent to make synthetic athletic tracks.

For the synthetic athletic tracks, companies can upload applications online for this from March 16 to March 28. The pre-qualification bids will open on March 30, 2022. After that, the Financial Bid will open.
