Youth talent on display in ‘Synergy 2022’, annual fest of Apeejay Institute

Dwarka: Students from various colleges showcased their talent in the annual inter-college festival 'Synergy 2022' organised recently at Apeejay Campus, Sector 8 Dwarka. The fest offered students a platform to unleash their full potential by exhibiting their multiple talents in fields such as performing arts and crafts.

The fest witnessed the participation of around 200 students from several colleges and institutes of higher learning from Delhi-NCR. Some of the competitions at the fest were - Ad Mad, Bulls & Bears, Hand Painting, Pot-making, Singing, Dancing, and Rangoli competition, among others.

The event started with the inaugural addresses by Dr. Alka Munjal, Director of Apeejay school of management, and Prof. Sajal Mukherjee, Director, Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication.

Leena Raheja, a first-year student with Apeejay School of Management says, “Synergy 2022 brought a spirit of celebration and competitiveness in our souls. It was a perfect blend of fun with knowledge. The two-day event was packed with enthusiasm. All of us participated in management games and cultural events. We will cherish these moments as we created so many memories.”

Another first-year student, Shriti Goyal, said, “It was a wonderful experience. From flash mob to alumni meet, all the events were well-synchronized and coordinated. I thoroughly enjoyed the events and I am so looking forward to more such experiences in the coming months.”

In the Pot Decoration competition, Himanshi Rawat from Apeejay School of Management secured first place while Tanya Jain from Dr. Hari Singh Gour University secured the second position. Students of Apeejay institute of mass communication, Sushmita Roy and Amitabh Mukherjee, aced the Solo Dance competition securing first and second positions respectively. The Street Play competition was won by students of Sri Aurobindo College and Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies.

Aditya Anand Jha and  Diksha Rathore from Apeejay were honoured as 'Mr and Ms Synergy 2022'. For the 'Mr and Ms Personality Category', Devansh Sethi and Kajal Kumari from Apeejay were the winners.
