Mask up your hair to keep them healthy

Summers bring with them a season of sweat, sun and dust. Even tough you can now wear your cool summer clothes, it is very important to protect your hair from the sun. To help you out with that, we have got a list of some amazing hair masks that you can make at home. They will help you with keeping your hair healthy and you having a fun summer.

For nourishment, use milk treatment

Milk can be directly applied to your hair to provide it with protein while also adding lustre. Rinse your hair with milk after shampooing and keep it on for 5 minutes. After that, rinse with normal water.

Hair mask made of eggs

Summer is the season of refreshing water splashes and swimming, and it's no surprise. Summers, on the other hand, may be highly hard on your hair due to the sun, sweat, salt, and chlorine in the pool. So, here's an egg mask that will nourish your hair like crazy.

An egg is a good source of protein and has moisturising characteristics that help to repair the damage. One or two eggs (depending on your hair length) should be whisked together and applied to your entire head. Cover your head with a shower hat and leave the mask on for 20 minutes. Wash it thoroughly till the odour is gone. This easy-to-use hair mask will do wonders for your hair.

Conditioning treatment with hot oil

Heat pure coconut oil and apply it to your hair and scalp twice a week. After that, soak a cloth in hot water, press off the excess water, and wrap it over your head like a turban. Keep it on for a total of 5 minutes. 3 or 4 times with the heated towel wrap. Allow the hot oil therapy to sit on your skin overnight. The next day, shampoo.

Hair mask with banana and honey

The sun's rays irritate your scalp, and scratching it causes not only pain and hair loss, but also shame in public. To do so, you'll require an effective treatment that will alleviate the condition. Opt for a hair mask with antibiotics such as honey and banana.

Bananas contain potassium, which strengthens the roots, while honey draws moisture to the scalp, keeping it from becoming dry and irritable. Simply combine one banana and 2-3 tablespoons of honey in a blender. Apply the paste to the hair and keep it on for at least 15-20 minutes. Using cold water, thoroughly rinse it. The natural hair mask will improve the condition of your scalp.

Avocados are good for you.

Hair packs made from avocado can be used. Avocado's protein and oil content nourish the hair, giving it volume and lustre. Using a fork, mash one avocado into a pulp. 1 tbsp. steeped green tea + 1 tbsp. fenugreek (methi) seed powder Add lukewarm water to make a paste. Apply it for half an hour and then wash it off.

For a dry scalp, make your own amla hair oil.

Hair oil containing amla helps to keep the scalp's acid-alkaline balance in check, preventing dandruff. Take a handful of dry amla to produce amla hair oil. Coarsely grind and combine with 100 mL pure coconut oil. Place it in an airtight glass bottle and expose it to the sun every day for 15 days. The oil should next be strained and stored.
