Apart from the nominations and winners, one more thing to look out for during the Oscars is the red carpet looks of the celebrities. Inspired by decades of Hollywood glamour, the event gives performers the chance to dress up as special as they want. Here is the list of all the best outfits from Oscars 2022.
Zendaya in Valentino
You can always count on Zendaya to put on a show-stopping red-carpet performance. She completed her ensemble with Bulgari Serpenti Viper single- and double-coil bracelets as she walked the red carpet in a glistening silver Valentino skirt and cropped satin top.
Timothée Chalamet in custom Louis Vuitton
The 'Dune' actor, who is no stranger to red carpet fashion, wore a custom Louis Vuitton ensemble that included a glittering black jacket with lace sleeves, basic black pants and zero shirts. He did, however, go overboard with the jewellery, opting for a slew of silver rings and pendant necklaces.
In candyfloss pink Atelier Versace, Lily James had a fairy-tale moment. The embroidered Chantilly lace gown, which featured a thigh-high split and fluffy georgette skirt, was part of the fashion house's autumn/winter 2021 couture collection.
Megan Thee Stallion in Gaurav Gupta
The singer made her Oscar debut in a gorgeous costume designed by renowned Indian atelier Gaurav Gupta, and it was quite the fashion statement! The Sweetest Pie singer graced the red carpet in a metallic blue strapless gown molded for her, giving her a look that we won't soon forget. The dress had a plunging neckline that hugged her hourglass body and a single waist cut-out with an asymmetrical hem that showed off her toned leg. The figure-hugging ensemble had a stunning ruffled pattern on her hips and opened into a floor-sweeping train.
The West Side Story actress wore a custom-made Valentino ensemble consisting of fitted slacks, a buster top, and a dramatic overlay on the red carpet and went on to win the Best Supporting Actress Oscar. De Beers and an Omega clock added a touch of glitz.
Jada Pinkett Smith
Jada Pinkett Smith looked stunning in an emerald green Jean Paul Gaultier gown with a zip-up bodice and long ruffled skirt with a train. She completed her look with similar green platform sandals and titanium and diamond G by Glenn Spiro earrings. This look is a little unhinged, and we love it
Penelope Cruz opted for a classic black Chanel gown with an embellished neckline and full taffeta skirt. It's never a time Penelope disappoints anyone when it comes to awing everyone with her looks.
