A three-day free yoga camp was inaugurated today at Sector 39, Noida, for the residents. Vatsala Parashar, President, and other members of the RWA were present on the occasion.

During the camp, which will conclude on Sunday, asanas such as kapal bhati and pranayama are being practised. A few residents were enthusiastic enough to reach before time on the first day.

The camp, the result of an initiative by Dr Rajesh Panwar, a yoga instructor, will have special focus on sinusitis cure.

Speaking to City Spidey, Dr Panwar described yoga as a sure-fire way to achieve health and physical fitness without medicine and its side-effects.

“Practising yoga also relieves stress," he added.

"The purpose of the camp is to spread awareness about the benefits of yoga among the residents," said Parashar, the RWA President.

Bindu Tyagi, a resident, said, "Such neighbourhood camps are definitely an add-on to our regular morning-walk routines."
