Dwarka: Melody foundation in association with the Centre For Cultural Resources And Training (CCRT) organised a musical program under the 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' celebrations. Differently-abled artists from the Blind Association (Uttamnagar), Delhi performed at this event on April 9, 2022, at CCRT Auditorium. Rishi Vashisht, director of CCRT was the Chief guest at the event.

The program started with the lighting of the lamp where executive committee members of the Association of Neighbourhood Ladies Get Together (ANLHGT) Rajlaxmi Kurup, Moloy Chakraborty, KN Singh, Rahul Kumar Singh, Deputy Director of CCRT, and Raka Bharti were present. Anup Kumar, Neeru Gupta, Ashok Bharadwaj, and Poonam Gururani were present from Melody foundation.

Post the lighting of the lamp ceremony, young artists from the Blind Association sang three beautiful songs. After this, the President of the Blind Association, Anil Kumar Verma spoke a few words. Several mesmerizing renditions of songs were performed by Neeraj Kapoor, Mohd Arif, Netra Tikoo, Benzy, Kumari Sugandhita Kaul, and Anahad Band. A short play was also performed by Hemant Chhaon.

Kritika Sharma was the anchor of the program. On this occasion, Melody foundation released its souvenir. Thereafter, the Director of CCRT presented all artists with medals and certificates.
