  • -Sliced avocado
  • -Cherry Tomatoes
  • -Dark green cucumber (sliced)
  • -Chopped iceberg lettuce leaves

For the dressing

  • -4 tsp Olive Oil
  • -Kashmiri red chillies
  • -Salt to taste

How to make

1. Place the chilled vegetables in a salad bowl
2. Add the salad dressing and mix thoroughly.
3. Serve immediately.

How to Make Green Apple Salad

  • Tomatoes
  • Cabbage
  • Capsicum
  • Carrots

How to Make Mixed Vegetable Salad

1.Cut the tomatoes into 8 segments each lengthwise.
2.Mix the yogurt, salt, pepper, honey and vinegar and blend well together.
3.Keep both the vegetables and the dressing refrigerated separately until ready to serve.
4.When ready to serve, mix the vegetables and the dressing together.
5.This has to be done at the last minute, as the vegetables combined with the salt tend to shed their juices and thus become limp and soggy if kept too long.

Green Bean Salad with Egg Topping

This bean salad is incredibly tasty. Dress it up with hard-boiled egg, parsley, and crispy breadcrumbs to make it a meal. It's the ideal salad to make ahead of time, since the flavours deepen as it sits in the fridge.

Ingredients of Green Bean Salad with Egg Topping

  • Gram Green beans-topped
  • Olive oil
  • Butter
  • White breadcrumbs
  • Parsley, chopped
  • 1 Egg - (hard boiled and shelled)
  • Salt

How to Make Green Bean Salad with Egg Topping

1.Bring a large pan of salted water to a boil.
2.Add the beans and cook for 6 minutes.
3.Drain well and toss the beans in olive oil and allow it to cool.
4.Heat the butter in a large frying pan and add the breadcrumbs and fry until they turn golden.
5.Remove the pan from the heat and add the chopped parsley and then grate in the egg.
6.Place the beans in a shallow box and spoon on the breadcrumb topping.
7.The salad can be prepared in advance and then chilled until needed
