Dwarka: Team Dwarka Forum raises civic issues to Deputy Commissioner

Dwarka: The team of Dwarka Forum, a resident body of Dwarka, highlighted several civic issues of Dwarka to the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of South Delhi Municipal Corporation(SDMC), Najafgarh Zone. In a meeting held on Friday, April 29, 2022, team Dwarka Forum talked about issues such as solid waste management, encroachment, sanitation, anti-defacement, pollution among others with Pradeep Kumar, DC, SDMC.

Members of Dwarka Forum have asked the DC to take subjects into serious concern and take necessary initiatives to solve them. They also proposed that the authorities can seek support from community people and Dwarka Forum is ready to help in any way possible.

President of Dwarka Forum, Sushil Kumar says, “We have asked for concrete action on issues like segregation of waste, solid waste management and rain water harvesting. Routine issues like maintenance of poles, parks, green area, daily garbage collection was also discussed in detail. Issues like encroachment and defacement of public property were also brought to his notice.”

“DC said that Dwarka would see a change on ground in next three months. We will be reviewing the things accordingly,” says Sushil.

DC Pradeep Kumar took the subjects into notice and has assured to take necessary action.
