Noida: 7X welfare, in collaboration with Noida Authority and Noida traffic police, was back at raising awareness about traffic rules on the roads of Noida on May 3, 2022. This time, the campaign was carried out at the U-turn near Link Road, Sector 51 Metro.

During this campaign, several two-wheeler riders were found riding without helmets in u-turn of Sector 51, Noida. They were stopped and made aware of how important it is to wear helmets. In India, as per the reports, 14 people die every hour in road accidents.

Traffic Inspector Ashutosh Kumar Singh says, “It was observed that people, especially as it was a big occasion on May 3, were commuting in rickshaws in large numbers, which is fatal from the point of view of traffic rules and safety. Heavy vehicles were also seen running there even when their time to move there was over.”

He continues, “Our traffic volunteers explained to such people the traffic rules and importance of following them for our own as well as for others' safety.”
