Noida: On the last weekend, in Prateek Laureal, a residential society in Sector 120, a football match called Laurel Football League was organised. It was a two day tournament from April 30 to May 1 that brought community people together, especially after the Covid.
The tournament was full of excitement and fun. It was the first season of the league and the United 5 team was declared the winner. Karan, the captain of United 5 received the winning trophy. PLFC team scored the runner-up position underthe the captaincy of Siddharth Chowdhary.

Prabhat Mani Vats, who is also the president of Prateek Laurel's AoA bagged the 'Golden Boot' prize scoring highest number of goals in the league. Kalpit Sharma was adjuged the Best Goalkeeper while Shrey became the best young talent of the tournament.
President Prabhat Vats says, “We thank all our organisers- Ayush, Rudy, Daksh, Saksham, Pranay and all our sponsors -Motherland, Mr Bhature, Books Raja and Match referee Aja and the support staffs for an excellent game of football. We hope to organise Season-2 in this year during Winters which will be better in every way. We intend to take these events on a bigger scale and are in discussion with the other societies for an inter-society tournaments.”
