GreNo: GNIDA to invoke Gangsters Act against illegal occupants of land

Greater Noida: The Greater Noida Authority is all set to invoke the Gagsters Act against those who have illegally occupied land in GreNo. This decision was taken by the newly appointed GNIDA CEO Surendra Singh in a meeting earlier this week. The authority, along with the Police and Revenue Department, has started preparations for vigorous action against land mafia.

The new CEO has asked to list down the illegal land occupants within two days. Individual work circle officers have been given this responsibility and if any instance of encroachment is found missing in the list, strict action will be taken against the officials concerned.

The CEO has directed to register an FIR against all the land mafias and has also ordered to recover the illegally occupied land.
