After casting Walker Scobell as the titular protagonist, ‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ have now found their Grover Underwood and Annabeth Chase. Aryan Simhardi has been casted to play Grover while Leah Sava Jeffries will be playing Annabeth.
The show which will release on Disney + will follow the story of young demigod Percy Jackson as he comes to terms with his newly discovered powers. With his friends by his side, he embarks on this new supernatural journey. While on surface Annabeth and Grover may look like regular kids but mind you, there is nothing normal about them. While Grover is a satyr, half boy and half goat, Annabeth is the daughter of Greek goddess, Athena.
Simhardi has earlier worked in films and shows like Spin, Just roll with it, Adventures in Wonderpark, The Spongebob Movie: Sponge On The Run among others. Jeffries also comes from a considerable on screen experience, having worked in films and shows like Empre, Rel, Faith under Fire among others.
Together, these actors are all set to bring the iconic trio to life on screen. The excited fans took to social media to share fan art of the show as soon as they heard the news.
Another fan art shows the book's version of Annabeth giving her hat to the show's version of Annabeth.

This story revolves around Percy's adventures which are really interesting. It's great that we will be able to see them come to life on screen. And i am sure the cast is going to do an amazing job at portraying the characters we love.”
