Zoya Akhtar's Archies is ready to give the 90's kids a soaked nostalgia of their favourite comic, bringing Archie and his friends alive on our screens. The group will be back with a twist this time. From the comic books, Archie Andrews and his gang will now be seen in an India adaptation on Netflix. With her upcoming feature, 'The Archies,' Zoya is bringing the Indian adaptation of the comics alive.
The live-action musical, directed by Zoya Akhtar, is set in 1960s India. The film features an ensemble cast including debutants Agastya Nanda, Suhana Khan, and Khushi Kapoor are the main leads in the movies. Archie is the most anticipated movie as star kids of Bollywood are making their acting debut in the world of Bollywood. Agastya plays Archie, with Khushi portraying Betty and Suhana portraying Veronica in the film. Dot, Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina, and Yuvraj Menda are among the cast members. The teaser introduces the cast having a fun time in the woods.

On April 18, the Archies took the stage. On Saturday, May 14, Netflix India's official Twitter account published the first-look poster for The Archies. "Get your picnic baskets and your cutest outfits ready because we're going to meet the Archie clan!" According to the film's teaser, it promises to be a musical experience filled with youth, rebellion, friendships, first loves, and everything young adult, nevertheless promises to have something for every generation. Ankur Tiwari's song is playing in the background of the announcement video.
"The film has the legendary gang of The Archies at its heart and wonderfully fits the youthful energy, hope, and excitement of the sixties era," the producers said in a statement. The seven actors portray Archies characters.
Sharing the teaser on social media, Zoya wrote, "Ain't nothing like old school. Grab your gang 'cause the Archies are coming soon on @netflix_in !"
Shahrukh Khan has written a heartwarming caption for her daughter as this is her debut in Bollywood.
