Noida Authority and Sec 51 RWA organise 'Safaigiri Abhiyaan' in Sector 51

Noida: On May 14, 2022, a Safaigiri Abhiyaan was organized by Noida Authority in Sector-51, Noida. During the Safaigiri Abhiyaan, a cleanliness drive was organised in a bid to interact with the residents of Sector 51 and understand their sanitation related issues. In the drive, all the department heads from Noida Authority were present to resolve and note the problems of residents.

During the Safaigiri Abhiyaan in Sector 51, many written complains and suggestions were given to the officials of the Noida Authority and all the problems were discussed thoroughly in front of residents and members of resident committees.

After the discussion of the issues of Sector 51, the RWA members, along with the officials of Noida Authority and residents of Sector 51 took an oath of not littering the area. After the oath was taken, Noida Authority officials and RWA team visited several areas of Sector 51 and assessed the problems on the spot and promised to get all the problems resolved soon.

In the safai abhiyaan, several problems were discussed and presented to the officials of the Noida Authority in writing. Issues like supply of water with high TDS, request for resurfacing of all roads of Sector 51, installation of interlocking tiles around the park and green belt of the sector among others were a topic of discussions. 

Some other complains and requests include-

-Request for construction of one more floor in Barat Ghar at C7 Sector 51
-Request to close the open drains of the sector with FC cover.
-Requesting Noida Metro Rail Corporation to install sound barriers on the Block D and Block E side of the sector to prevent noise pollution.
-Request for the repair of broken footpath in the park and construction of new footpath in Children's Park.
-Request to increase the number of Safai Karamcharis.
-Request for redressal of the problem of encroachment from Rama Banquet Hall
-Redressal of the problem of dumping of cow dung by the villagers behind F18 Sector 51.
-Request to complete the construction work of semi-finished drains in Sector 51 D Block.
-Request to remove the trees grown in the drains of Sector 51 with the help of the Forest Department.
-Request to give notice against commercial activity in Sector 51 and stop it immediate effect.
-Request to get the vacant plots cleared in the sector.
-Request for raising the boundary wall of Sector 51 D Block Park.
-Request to open clogged sewers in the sector.
-Request for installation of indication board in Sector 51.
-Request to build a wall for demarcation by separating the village from the sector.
-Request for immediate removal of encroachment behind F9 to F17 plot in the sector.
-Request for removal of Hawker's encroachment from near VDS Market, Green Belt C 176, and Cloud 9 Hospital.

Many officials from Noida Authority marked their presence including OSD Indu Prakash, Gaurav Bansal (Health department),  A K Varun ( sewer and water Department), Rajesh (E & M), Ritwik (Work Circle 3), Sunil (WC 3), Jagpal (Health).On behalf of DD RWA Gautam Budh Nagar Uttar Pradesh, Vice President Anil Khanna also participated in the cleanliness drive.
