Marvel Studios' Thor: Love and Thunder trailer out!

Marvel Studios' Thor: Love and Thunder released recently has created a buzz on the internet. It has crossed more than 2 million views in a single day. It's been a while since we saw the first teaser for Thor: Love and Thunder, and with no other MCU films scheduled to release until early July, Marvel fans can now devote their full attention to the God of Thunder's new adventure.

Taika Waititi, the film's director, announced on social media last week that a new trailer would be released before Game 4 of the NBA Eastern Conference playoffs today, which he did.

Thor's (Chris Hemsworth) effort at retirement is disrupted by the advent of a galactic killer in the new film. The trailer begins with Korg (Waititi) narrating the story of Thor Odinson, but he is interrupted when he realises there are other Gods of Thunder in town. To be exact, the Mighty Thor is still reeling from the unexpected appearance of his former flame(Jane Foster played by Natalie Portman), but he doesn't have time to dwell on the feelings that are undeniably, possibly still present, as shown in the trailer. The two of them, along with Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), are on the verge of facing a new threat: Gorr, the God Butcher (Christian Bale). He is hell-bent on seeing all the gods suffer for their avarice. The trip takes them to places we've never seen before, including a meeting with Zeus (Russell Crowe).

The trailer also gives us the first looks of two of the most prominent actors in the movie and making their MCU debut, Christian Bale and Russel Crowe. Bale can be seen playing Gorr, the God Butcher, the movie's main antagonist. His look both shocking and scary has been raising many eyebrows. Crowe can be seen playing Zeus, the Greek God of Thunder.

With Love and Thunder, our Thor (Hemsworth) becomes the first Marvel actor to achieve a fourth solo film. The character was last seen in Avengers: Endgame (2019), which introduced the world to an anguished Thor after failing to stop Thanos. Love and Thunder's first teaser was released just a month ago. Netizens cannot wait for the movie. In April and revealed a Thor who had given up the superhero life.

Thor: Love and Thunder unlocks in theatres on July 8. Have a look at the mighty trailer!
