A preliminary investigation by Noida Authority at Supertech Ecovillage 2 has revealed that the builder has given possession to the flat buyers without taking the completion certificate/occupancy certificate from the Authority. Following this, Greater Noida Authority has issued a notice to the builder asking him to respond in three days. As per the notice in case of a non-satisfactory reply, action will be taken as per the terms of the lease deed.

On May 24, 2022, two children fell from the shaft while playing cricket on the ninth floor of Tower No B-6 of Supertech Eco Village 2, Greater Noida West. Both children are severely injured and are undergoing treatment at a private hospital.

The investigation team apprised the CEO about the incident. The team says, "Builder has given possession to the flat buyers without taking the completion/occupancy certificate. A large number of people live in these flats. The shaft from which the children fell was given aluminium doors, which had acrylic seats instead of panels, which is not enough in terms of safety."
