Noida: The election of the first AOA (Apartment Owners Association (AOA)) in Golf City, sector-75, Noida, concluded on Monday, May 23, 2022. The counting of votes was also done on the same day. Among the 15 contestants, 9 have won. All the winning candidates and a member nominated by the builder will meet and decide the candidates for the posts such as AOA President, Vice President, General Secretary and Treasurer. Akanksha Singh got the maximum votes in the result.
AOA elections were held on Sunday, May 22 in Golf City, plot no. 11. The voting started at 8:30 am and went on till 4:30 pm. To maintain transparency in the election, DD RWA had appointed two observers at the request of the Election Officer. Nearly 242 people voted. Election Convenor Advocate KM Singh announced the winning candidates.

Akanksha Singh, the winning candidate with 189 votes says, “We, as a team, will make all efforts to complete the pending work. We will focus on better utilisation of funds, approach authorities concerned for redressal of grievances, and improve sanitation and other facilities in the society."
