Pride month begins in Delhi

Pride month is an important time around Delhi. Activists, students and queer supporters take over the streets for various marches and pride parades. The participants sport a bold and confident look and raise slogans to promote inclusivity and love for the LGBTQ community.

Kickstarting the Pride month, students from all over Delhi came together for a pride march in DU North Campus. Studies from universities were seen supporting each other and promoting the message of mutual love and respect. One of the slogans at the march read, "We march for love, liberation and social liberation. Queer liberation and not rainbow capitalism."
