50 km cycle rally organized for World Environment Day

GreNo West: Nearly 100 riders came together for a 50km cycle rally organized on World Environment Day. Several cycle groups of Noida Extension such as Noida Extension Cyclist Club (NECC), Cyclathon and Women on Wheels(WOW) took part in this rally.

The ride started from Gaur Chowk Rajhans Theater and culminated at Advant Sector 135. All participants were honoured by giving medals, certificates, and plant saplings. All cycle enthusiasts from the age of 10 to 75 became a part of this rally.

NECC's Ritesh Mishra, Robin Tiwari, and Tanu Bhargava helped in coordinating the event.

Tanu Bhargava, a resident of Gaur City 7th Avenue, says, "It's very important to start cycling to improve the quality of our life and the environment. The use of cycle will reduce the use of fuel in the surrounding."

Ritesh Mishra, coordinator, planner and Admin NECC says, "Cycling is the best way to arrive at a happy and healthy environment. We must use cycle as much as possible in our daily routine to keep the environment clean and ourselves fit."
