The volunteers of 7x welfare with the joint effort of Noida Traffic Police carried out a road safety campaign on the black spot(accident-prone zone) in Ginjhor, Sector 53, Noida on June 5, 2022.

Brajesh Sharma, Founder of 7X Welfare points out that the UP government has decided to station 1080 ambulances at all 14 considered black spots (accident-prone zone) in Noida and Greater Noida. This is being done in a bid to reduce road accidents. Following this development, 7X Welfare has decided to raise road safety awareness at all these black spots.

He mentions that according to reports, 351 different road accidents have taken place in the last 4 months in Gautam Budh Nagar. Among these, 255 people were seriously injured, and 156 people died. 33 people lost their lives on the Yamuna expressway itself.

He says, "7X Welafre requested everyone to follow the traffic rules strictly so that no one becomes the victim of accidents on the roads. People should ride/drive vehicles cautiously on the roads, as rushing the vehicle can cause an an an accident."

Giriraj Bahediya, a member of 7X welfare says, "We will continue to make people aware of road safety by running campaigns on all such black spots of Noida and Greater Noida. This would make the community aware and urge the administration to remove all shortcomings from these spots so that accidents can be reduced."

Apart from raising awareness on road safety, stickers of Mission Shakti women helpline 1090 were fixed on buses, taxis, autos and other vehicles. This was done to raise awareness about the helpline number which women can call to get assistance regarding any cases of crime or harassment.
