Delhi: In Mandi House, almost every weekend, several curious ideas and scripts come alive as stage plays. While the whole week goes by working and hustling, weekends come as a respite from the humdrums of regular life. You can reserve your weekends to go enjoy some theatre.
This weekend, on June 11, 2022, Saturday, at Shri Ram Centre Auditorium, you can see 'Mashriki Hoor (Angel of East)' which will be staged at 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm. This Parsi style play is presented by Black Pearl Arts in collaboration with Parzour Foundation. Written by Pt. Radhe Shyam Khathavachak, the design, music and direction of the play is to Zafar Sanjari's credit.

On the following weekend, on June 17 and 18, Manav Kaul's 'Prem Kabootar' will be played in Sri Ram Centre Auditorium. This comes as something special for all the Manav Kaul fans as it is an adaption of his book of the same name. The play will be held at 7 pm on both days. Sameep Singh has done the dramatisation and direction of the play and tickets for the same are available for as low as rupees 200 which go upto rupees 1000.
If you are a budding actor yourself and want to hone your acting skills, you can also apply for Sri Ram Centre's one year acting program latest by June 15, 2022. The classes for the same will commence from July 4, 2022.
