Reema Tiwari, a resident of Fusion Homes says, “My husband is in Bihar, and since he went, there have been frequent power cuts. Why are we living here? We are unable to even sleep. When there was no electricity in the society for several hours, our society residents decided to protest against the builder."

Alok Tiwari, a resident of the Fusion home society and Reema’s husband says, “I am currently sitting at the Airport travelling from Bihar urgently to reach Noida. I can't leave my family in distress. We are paying per month 6,300 rupee maintenance, for this? Every day there is a power outage at around 10:30 in the night and after 4:00 in the morning, there is no power.”

Kunal Kaushik, another resident informs, “ The DG Genset in our society has some problem. As it is not an auto start one someone has to operate it manually to start it, and thus, it takes time. This weekend, the whole night the power was tripping. As people went out for the protest, the power was restored.”

Arun Awasthi, a resident says, “It is not only about yesterday, we are suffering for more than 15 days. There is a single transformer that is bearing all the load. The occupancy in this society is maximum now, and the transformer cannot bear this much load.”

Abhishek Kumar, a resident of Fusion Homes says, “So many residents were stuck in lifts yesterday. Now that we have complained to the police, we have high hopes that by Tuesday, things will be better."

CitySpidey contacted the Police of Cherry County Chowki to know more about this matter. On this, Sumit Kumar Yadav, Sub Inspector, Cherry county chowki says, "Residents were full of anger and they were very upset with the power cut. The maintenance staff of the society is trying to fix the problem. They have told us that in 24 hours, the new transformer will be installed in the society and the problem will be solved very soon."
