Be it to experience the magic of theatre or to learn the art of acting itself, Mandi House in Delhi is the one-stop destination for all theatre lovers. Every weekend, the many old and new theatres in Mandi House stage several plays. From comedy to drama, action to romance, these plays are never short on entertainment and also provides food for thought. The creatively done posters announcing the coming up plays placed strategically around Mandi House give the whole place a festive and literary feel.

This weekend, on June 18 and 19, Bela Theatre Karwaan is presenting Moliere's 'Kanjoos Miyaan Deewane', a family comedy drama. The play is directed by Amar Shah and will be staged in LTG Auditorium at 6:00 and 7:30 pm.

On June 19, you can also go watch 'Urubhangam', adapted from Bhasa's book of the same name. The play is directed by Sunil Chauhan and will be staged at 3:00 pm in LTG Auditorium.

On the next weekend, June 25 and 26, you can watch 'The Suicide', a comedy play, directed by Saif Ansari in LTG Auditorium. It will be staged at 4:30 pm and 7:30 pm on both days.

If while watching all these plays, you want to explore the actor inside you, there are several workshops you can enroll for. Apna Manch Theatre Group is organising a theatre workshop which will culminate in a show at the end of the course.

The same group is also organising a children's workshop to hone skills such as acting, speech, story telling and team building. This workshop will be held from June 13 to June 24.
