CCRT has organized an Online/Offline live Yoga session on the theme of "Yoga for Humanity"

CCRT celebrates International Yoga and World Music Day

Delhi: On the occasion of International Yoga Day and World Music Day, the Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT) organized various creative events on June 21, 2022, from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM at CCRT headquarters in Delhi. The event was observed under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Ministry of Culture, Government of India.

CCRT organized an online/offline live yoga session on the theme 'Yoga for Humanity' by Sanjiv Pathak, well known Yoga Guru in Delhi. The event witnessed the participation of staff and community members. About 40,000 students of 500 schools from all over India and l0 CCRT Interpretation Centres, Varanasi along with the staffs of CCRT, Regional Centre from Hyderabad, Udaipur, Guwahati and Damoh respectively participated through virtual/online mode.

Moreover, 100 students of Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University along with l0 Faculty members attended the events in person.

Further, on the occasion of the International Day of Music (lDM), CCRT organized a lecture-demonstration titled: 'Spandan' Integrating Yoga, Music & Dance by Captain Sumisha Shankar, Fellow CCRT, and Ministry of Culture. Spandan was an amalgamation of yoga and music through rhythmic movements for spreading holistic wellness. A rich tapestry of Indian classical wisdom integrating yoga, music and dance principles was displayed for the enrichment and education of the audience.
