Dwarka: In Dwarka Sector 17E, near Peepal Apartments, driving on the wrong side of the road has become a common sight. Due to this, some cases of vehicular collisions have also been reported in the area. Vehicular drivers approaching the CNG pump besides Peepal Apartments, often violate the traffic signal and take to the wrong side to avoid U turn. Not just this, vehicles belonging to the residents of Peepal Apartments can also be seen taking to the wrong side to enter the housing society.
PK Singh, a resident of Peepal Apartments says, “It is very common to see people driving on the wrong side. Many drivers also jump traffic signals, as a result the whole thing gets very dangerous. Traffic police have failed completely in checking such blatant cases of wrong side driving.”
On the subject, when approached by CitySpidey, the circle traffic officials say that they will look into the matter.
