Rohini: The first edition of the directory of the Federation of Cooperative Group Going Society(CGHS), Rohini released on July 10, 2022, Sunday. The ceremony was held at Agrawal Bhavan, Prashant Vihar, and was attended by hundreds of community people from various societies of Rohini.
The directory was released and unveiled by Additional Commissioner Delhi Police, Rajnish Gupta IPS, Jagdish Yadav, Chairman OBC Commission Board' Rajesh Goel, Chairman DCHFC (Delhi Cooperative Housing Finance Corporation Ltd s Chairman), ACP Aarti Sharma, former Deputy Mayor Ritu Goyal, Ex MLA Rajesh Garg, Ex councillor Chitra Aggarwal, Ex-Chairman of Municipal Corporation, Alok Sharma.
Vice President and PRO of the federation, Ram Avatar Nayyar informs that a lucky draw was also organised at the event and the winners were given prizes. “There was a lucky draw of 152 societies from Sector 9, 13, 14 and 15. Prizes were presented to the winners. Ram Krishna from CGHS of Sector 9 was the winner and was given a refrigerator.”
CitySpidey talked to the president of the Federation of CGHS, Rohini, Arya Muni, and General Secretary Dr. SL Sagar. Both congratulated the societies for being in the first edition of the directory. Muni says, "This was the first edition of the directory and we are happy to have the directory in hard copy. I congratulate the Federation and all the societies for this."
