GreNo West: On July 15, 2022, the Greater Noida Authority came into action and initiated a drive to clean the c&d waste lying in a vacant plot, Techzone 4.
This comes after CitySpidey reported the issue of a vacant plot in Techzone 4, between the Spring Meadows society and Nirala Estate, being converted into a dump yard on June 18, 2022.

Azeem Khan, a resident of Nirala Estate says, “This place needed attention. Today the c&d waste is getting removed. We will do plantation here. This place was a breeding ground for reptiles and mosquitoes. I wake at 4 am and during my morning walks, I have seen many snakes here. The place also attracts a lot of anti-social elements. Once it is completely cleaned, we will fence it, so that no anti-social element enters the plot.”

Vikash Katiyar, a resident of Spring Meadows says, "We were continuously complaining about this issue, and no one was doing anything about it. For the past 2 years, we kept requesting the officials to pay a visit. Finally, we are happy to see that something is being done."
Sachin Nagar, supervisor, Rise 11 C & D waste, Ecotech3 says, “The plot is very dirty and in a miserable condition. We are cleaning it, and we will leave this place only when it will be clean and smooth again.”
