Tejasvi Sharma says, "All of my achievements, I owe it to my hard work. Every human in this world has the potential to achieve anything. All they need to do is just to seize every small opportunity and work because these small opportunities will eventually lead you to the greatest of heights."

Tejasvi says that he was tenacious while practising yoga. He participated at district, state, national, and finally international levels, representing India. His only thought, which worked as fuel for him, was that determination is beyond disability.

Tejasvi further says, "I have experienced discrimination because of my disability. Yoga is something that helped me a lot and I think it can help other people as well. I have pleaded with organizations from around the world and the Indian government to help the disabled learn about yoga. They have listened to my request, and the National Yogasan Sports Federation, which is recognised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and sports, Government of India, is working  on the issue and has formed a committee called Para Yogasan Sports for the disabled. So that the disabled can have the facilities which are given to Para Olympians."
