2,202 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in Delhi on August 4, 2022, according to the daily advisory released by the Health Department of the Delhi government. Four deaths have also been reported. According to government data, the positivity rate is currently 11.84%. With cases increasing daily, Covid figures pose a concern.
There are presently 6,175 active cases in Delhi. Up to 3587 Covid patients are being isolated in their homes. With the new diagnosis on August 4, 2022, the total tally of Covid cases in the national capital has increased to 19,62,374.
Out of 9,406 beds, only 405 (4.31%) are occupied in different Delhi hospitals for Covid patients as documented on August 4, 2022. According to the latest report, 9001 (95.69%) of the beds at Covid care and health centres are vacant.
