Noida: On the occasion of Independence Day, the Police department of Gautam Buddh Nagar was seen celebrating with zeal. The Indian flag was hoisted by Alok Singh, Commissioner of Police, GTB Nagar Police. In the ceremony, the officers and employees were awarded by the commissioner of police for their courageous and commendable work. The families of the martyred policemen were also honoured at the occasion.

Independence Day program was celebrated by the Commissionerate of Police in a gaiety, traditional and dignified manner. Alok Singh, Police Commissioner extended warm greetings to all the police personnel present on the occasion of Independence Day and took an oath to contribute in protecting and strengthening the unity and integrity of the country. During his address, he remembered the sacrifices of the immortal martyrs.

Flag hoisting was also done at all the police stations of the Commissionerate on the occasion of Independence Day. The national anthem was sung with a salute at all the police stations. The subordinates were administered an oath by the station in-charges to contribute to protecting and strengthening the unity and integrity of the country.
