Noida Authority's team faces alleged violence while removing encroachment

Noida: Encroachment has long been an issue in Noida. However, an alarming recent trend is this issue resulting in violent acts. In a recent incident, the Noida Authority's team of work circle 3 was allegedly beaten by some men when they had gone to remove encroachment from the footpath outside sector-51, C-177 by a puri sabzi stall. As gathered, the incident took place on August 23, 2022, around 10:30 am.

For the last six months Sector-51 RWA has been constantly complaining about the encroachment to Noida Authority. The office bearers of the RWA allege that when Noida Authority's work circle 3 team arrived to remove the encroachment, the puri seller called some men who charged at the members, knocking them to the ground.
