Celebrities we lost to sudden heart attacks recently

Singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, better known by his stage name KK, would have turned 54 today. The iconic singer's raucous yet melodic voice will live on in the hearts of his admirers for many years to come. He passed away on May 31 of this year, which was sudden and shocking for the country. During his concert at Kolkata, he complained of "feeling  heavy" while performing at the college at Nazrul Mancha in Kolkata. Once he arrived at the hotel, he passed out. The musician had a heart condition, and the post-mortem ruled out an unnatural death due to severe pulmonary disease and chronic liver disease. Premature deaths have become a merging trend in the industry.

Deepesh Bhan

Popularly known for his role in TV show, Bhabhi ji Ghar Par Hain, Deepesh recently died at an early age of 41. His relatives and friends in the  business were shocked to hear this news. The star passed away while playing cricket after collapsing during a shoot the previous evening. He was famous for playing comic character 'Malkhaan'.

Sonali Phogat

On August 23, 2022, Sonali Phogat died of a heart attack while in goa; her death was sudden and shocking for everyone. She rose to fame with  the help of her TikTok videos. She made her TV anchoring debut in 2006. She also had a brief political career.

Raj Kaushal

Mandira's Bedi husband, filmaker Raj Kaushal, died early at 49 due to a sudden cardiac attack. He felt uneasy and collapsed on the floor,  but before he could get some medical help, he lost his pulse within  minutes. In his last moments, he was at his home with the family.

Sidharth Shukla

Sidharth Shukla passed away on September 2, 2021, after a severe heart attack which came as a sudden shock to the entire country. Reportedly, the previous evening, he had taken some medication before going to bed because he had felt restless, but he didn't get up in the morning.

Puneeth Rajkumar

Puneeth Rajkumar, a renowned Kannada actor, died in October 2021 after suffering a massive heart attack. Puneeth was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. When he arrived at the hospital, he whined of chest pain and was unresponsive. His final rites were held at the Kanteerava Studio in Bengaluru, next to his father's memorial.
