Celebrities at MTV Video Music Awards are known for their bold fashion choices apart from world-class music. Tate McRae, a Canadian singer, decided to bring Cavewoman Chic to the VMAs red carpet this year. While she pulled it off admirably, we can't assist but wonder why she is wearing it. The blouse was slightly too weird for the look.

Sabrina Carpenter

Sabrina Carpenter, an American singer-actor, tried to channel the retro vibe in this Moschino dress but failed miserably due to the tacky cutouts of the dress, which did not look flattering on her.

Lizzo

What exactly is this dress? We are still trying to figure it out. The singer is known for flaunting her famous curves, but in this Jean Paul Gaultier disaster, she hid her entire body beneath heavy layers of unstructured navy fabric.

Bebe Rexha

In a black gown from Vivienne Westwood, singer Bebe Rexha arrived on the red carpet with a poker face. Babe Rexha is always known for her fashion statements, but this gown is not suitable for the red carpet. The underwhelming look failed to impress fans and critics.

Ashley Graham

From the cutouts to the gauche neckline and even more awkward hem length to the ruching, the look was a total miss. Well, the safety pins were a bit too much on the face, it all felt a bit overbaked.

Khalid

Singer Khalid somehow failed in his attempt to create a bold, bright, and fun look. The purple shoes knocked him down a notch in terms of style. We believe the colour was too bright for the event.

Lili Reinhart

This drab black gown did Lili no favours, as it completely hid her incredible body while making it appear like she never went in for a fitting. She didn't smile on the red carpet, possibly because her outfit was so depressing.

Sofia Carson

This is the VMAs, the most happening event of the year. Why did the actress wear such a sad-looking black down with a hooded cape? The stern look on her face made the general aesthetic seem depressing and sad for the event.
