Lord Ganesh arrives in societies of Noida and GreNo West

Noida: The celebrations of Ganesh Chaturthi are in high spirits across Noida and Greater Noida West. Several societies of Noida and GreNo West welcomed Lord Ganesha on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi on August 31, 2022.

The shopkeepers of Noida Haat have installed a Ganesh statue in Noida Haat, Sector 33. This event was organized by the members of Maharashtra Sangh. Dattare Angle, a devotee of Lord Ganesha tells us, "The idol will be immersed after regular Ganesh worship for 10 days".

Supertech Emerald Court, Sector 93 A celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with of zeal in their amphitheatre. There was a special pooja at 5 pm. Dhol players and professional dancers were also invited to take take the celebrations a notch above.

In Antriksh Golf View 2, Sector 78, residents welcomed Lord Ganesha on Ganesh Chaturthi with lots of pomp and gaiety for a three day celebration. The Ganesh Puja started at 10 am on August 31, followed by Pushpanjali, aarti and Bhandara for all the residents.

In Samrat Mihir Bhoj Park, Greater Noida, Lord Ganesha was welcomed and worshipped in the courtyard. There, Ganeshotsav started with the audition of a talent show. On this occasion, Chandrashekhar Garge Kakaji, a devotee and a resident of GreNo says, "Ganeshotsav is a cultural medium to bring people together. A lot of people have worked hard to make the event a success."

Residents of Supertech Ecovillage 1, GreNo West, also welcomed Lord Ganesha on Ganesh Chaturthi for a three day celebration. A 56 Bhog Maha prasad was offered by the residents to the Lord Ganesha, and along with that, Hawan and bhajan kirtans were also organised. The idol will be immersed on September 2 at 5 pm.

Some residents have also welcomed Lord Ganesha into their homes. Pankaj Walecha and Anuja Walecha, residents of C/13, Himalaya Pride Greater Noida West, with their son and daughter welcomed Ganesha in their flat. Pankaj says, "Three years ago, on the day of Ganesh Chaturthi, my son was born. Since that day, we wanted to welcome Lord Ganesha into our home. But due to Covid, we were not able to fulfil this desire. This year, we have finally welcomed Ganpati for 5 days."

Ranjana Suri Bhardwaj and Sameer Bhardwaj, residents of Supertech Ecovillage 1, also welcomed Ganpati Bappa to their residence. Senior citizens of Lotus Panache, Sector 110 also gathered together on Ganesh Chaturthi and welcomed Bappa into their society.
