Dwarka- Accident at signal of sector 13/17

An accident took place at the signal of sector 13/17 near Abhinav Global School and Rosewood Apartments in Sector 13 around 10:20 am on September 3, 2022. During the accident, two cars collided. As per onlookers, the accident took place because of high speed and violation of traffic rules at the signal. As gathered, the injured people have been taken to the hospital and a police investigation is underway.

Violation of red lights has become common in the sub-city and rampant at this particular signal. Not only this but also the traffic lights too are found to malfunction or are completely nonfunctional causing problems to the commuters. Today too, some of the signals were not working properly. People were also seen violating the traffic rules today even after the accident. Commuters were seen jumping the red light.
