The upcoming film Goodbye, starring Bollywood megastar Amitabh  Bachchan, will be released in theatres on October 7, 2022. Another highlight is the fact that with this film, directed by Vikas Bahl, Rashmika Mandanna makes her Bollywood debut. The film also stars Sunil Grover, Pavail Gulati and Elli AvrRam in pivotal roles.

Looking at the trailer will be an emotional ride for its viewers but with a twist of humour and comedy. The three-minute trailer depicts a scenario where Neena Gupta's character, who plays Bachchan's wife and  Mandanna's mother, dies and the ones left behind are trying to grapple with this situation in their own personal ways.  Even though the premise appears tragic, the film deals with it humorously and with some emotions thrown in.

Rashmika plays an independent girl with a mind of her own and whose opinions are diagonally opposite to that of her father, Big B. The tussle for supremacy between the two seems to drive the plot of the movie. The trailer also shows how difficult it gets for Amitabh to bring all his children on a common platform. Even though the children are not on the same page as their father, they not only get along but also remember their mother fondly in a  dysfunctional family. The movie seems heartwarming and designed to make us all realise that life doesn't wait for anyone and gives you no chances to bid goodbye. Written and directed by Vikas Bahl, the film is scheduled  to release in theatres on October 7.
