GreNo West: A colourful Teacher's Day celebration at SKA Greenarch

GreNo West: To commemorate the occasion of Teacher's Day, a colourful celebration was done in SKA Greenarch with a 'sit and draw' competition. The competition was organised on September 4 for everyone in the society clubhouse. The duration was one hour. People of all age groups participated in the event.

In the competition, the participants were divided into 5 broad categories based on age. The categories were- 3 to 6 years, 7 to 10 years, 11 to 14 Years, 15 to 19 Years, and 20 years plus.

In the 3 to 6 years category, Arnav Gupta won the first prize, Navish Sinha won the second prize and Aaradhya Mahto claimed the third prize. In the 7 to 10 years categories, Asmi Nanda won the first prize, Tapasya came second. Third prize was shared by Mishika Chauhan and Aditri Bhattacharya. In the 11 to 14 years categories, Avishka Rawat won the first prize, Ishita Srivastava won second prize, Jyotsna Singh and Ayushi Raghav shared the third prize. The first winner in 15 to 19 years category was Lakshya Dogra, and Shivansh Rawat came second. In the 20 years plus category, Susmita Sen Gupta won the first prize, Anjali Bisht stood second and Devendra Pratap Singh claimed the third position.

Ambrish Tripathi, organiser and resident of SKA Greenarch says, “The response was overwhelming. Kids and adults participated in the event enthusiastically and artistically portrayed their imaginations on sheets of paper. It was great to see the involvement of the participants.”
