Subroto says, " Our events will start 2 days prior to Navratra. We will start the festivities by Mahalaya which is called Pitra Paksh, where we will pay homage to our ancestors. We are doing it for the construction of the Biggest Kali mandir in Greater Noida West."

Shruti Dasgupta, General Secretary Matri Peeth, Greater Noida West Kali Bari says, “There will be Bhangra, Garba, and Western Dance performances. It is not like this, that only a Bengali community will be celebrating it. ”.
Mithun Chatterjee, Treasurer, Matri Peeth, Greater Noida West Kali Bari says, “We are promoting our in-house talent. Many troupes are coming from Kolkata who will perform belle painting."
We asked about what is belle painting, on this Shruti Dasgupta says, “Belle painting is the group which is performed by painting on the screen, they take a theme and it will be a classical dance performance of 7-8 people who will dance and paint simultaneously. This is happening for the very first time here in Greater Noida West.”

Prarthana Paul Chatterjee, Joint Treasurer says, “This is the 2nd edition of this festival. We are going to celebrate it more grandly this time. We are planning this event, to celebrate to ease out depression, negativity, the monotony we face etc.”

She continues, “We wait the whole year for Durga ma to come to our house. Durga Maa is like our daughter to us. As a mother keeps waiting for her daughter for a whole year to come and stay with her and enjoy the same way, we keep waiting for Goddess Durga the whole year.”

Prathna adds, “There will be great food served here. We are keeping vendors with special dishes with good variety."
