Sanjay Bhattacharya presents mobile photography exhibition 'A to Z'

Eminent artist Sanjay Bhattacharya in his hunger to create new art is delving into new forms. His first ever mobile photography exhibition (A to Z) was inaugurated on September 9, 2022, at the Bikaner House Main Building. Begum Sharmila Pataudi and Padmashree Shovana Narayan attended the opening.

Despite being a professional Painter, there is no end to his skills. Breaking the monotonous work schedule, he picked up his camera and went on his first tour of India in 2017 where he clicked 1000 photos out of which he showcased a few in his first Photography Exhibition in the same year.

Once again he got all of his clicks but from his own mobile phone camera this time. In this exhibition, he has come up with four different segments: some are shots of his hand shadows in mystic lights, some of his distorted shadows or reflections of him on different elements, a few of outdoor photography and others of interiors.

Sanjay Bhattacharya says, "I am very obliged to see such a heartwarming welcome to my first ever mobile photography in the city. Since I started my second tangent in 2017, this was a new experiment to follow the freedom of passion I found over the last few years. Now, I have much more to give after seeing such success and love I received from people."

Eminent personalities from the city attended the exhibition such as Maneka Gandhi, MP Lok Sabha, Artist Kanchan Chander, Singer Dr Minu Bakshi, Artist Shridhar Iyer, Artist Sudip Roy, Founder Ashhwika Foundation Shama Soni, and Classical Singer Meeta Pandit among others.

The show will be continued from September 9 to September 14, 2022, at Bikaner house and from September 16 2022 to September 30, 2022, at Prithvi Art and Cultural Center, Safdarjung Enclave, New Delhi.
