The biggest entertainment awards the Emmys took place. The Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles served as the venue for the Emmy Awards 2022. Zendaya, Jennifer Coolidge, and Matthew Macfadyen all scored big for HBO. The futuristic Korean thriller Squid Game won Hwang Dong-hyuk the directing Emmy. For Apple's Ted Lasso, Jason Sudeikis won Best Actor in a Comedy Series, while Jean Smart won for Hacks.
