Dr Anil Dhall, a senior cardiologist, says a silent heart attack is one where symptoms may not be recognized. A person might be having a heart attack but the nature of the ailment is such that it goes unnoticed. This makes it very dangerous. It can go unrecognized in diabetes as the pain nerve gets damaged.
What is a silent heart attack?
A silent heart attack is so normal that it has no symptoms, mild symptoms or symptoms people don’t connect to a heart attack. It goes unrecognized many times and could be diagnosed weeks or months later when a healthcare provider finds heart damage.

Dr Anil Dhall says people have no symptoms unless an ECG report detects a heart attack. There can be some symptoms like pain in areas including the jaw, neck, arms, back and stomach and sore muscle, indigestion, and cold sweats.

How to react if you are having a heart attack?
If you find out that you are having a heart attack, then sit in a chair and contact the hospital where primary angioplasty can be done. They will give you an aspirin and even you can keep half a Sorbitrate tablet under your tongue.
