Dwarka sector 13: School students perform sampoorna Ramlila

Dwarka: The famous Bal Utsav Ramlila Samiti, Dwarka started six years ago, with 1500 students participating from 25 schools. This year, it is a group of more than 4000 students participating from 130 schools and has made it to the Guinness Book of World Records on 29 September 2022. On September 29, 2022, 120 students of under 8 years of age from JM International School, performed in front of the team of Guinness Book of World Records and enthralled the audience with a beautiful performance of Sampoorna Ramlila.

The president of the committee, Preetima Khandelwal, started the group with a vision to bring the younger generation close to the customs, traditions and culture of India. With the contribution of all the participating schools, their principals, teachers, and parents associated with the committee, the group has set such a world record.

More than 10 thousand spectators were present from in and around Dwarka to see the Ramlila staged by the students of JM International School as the committee made it to the Guinness Book of World Records. Every year, this Ramlila which runs for ten days, is directed by renowned poet and stage director Sanjay Jain.
