Dwarka: A night full of garba and enthusiasm

Dwarka: The sub-city of Dwarka witnessed one of its biggest dandiya nights at Pacific D21 on October 1, 2022 from 6 to 10 PM. In the open terrace of the mall, the residents of Dwarka gathered in their colourful outfits, with dandiyas in their hands and danced through the night of Saptami (seventh day of Navratri). Those who couldn't make it to garba night on Saptami, they can still make it to the garba night on Ashtami, October 2, 2022.

After two long years, people were seen enthusiastic about celebrating Navratri with garba. A huge footfall turned up at D21 Pacific. As soon as you go on the top floor of the mall, the decked up crowd of the residents of Dwarka will show you way to the venue. There is a stall for the tickets of the food counter and there's an arrangement of sitting as well for those who get tired of dancing.

While the crowd at the garba night were all dressed up, the venue itself was beautifully adorned with fairy lights. On the left side of the main gate was the food area for which you need a different pass and on the right side was the huge stage. If you go straight from the main door, there are some stalls that have Diwali decoration on sale. Some school children have also set up their stalls to sell handmade organic products made by them.

The night kickstarted with a dandiya and garba performance by Aradhana Dance Group on the trending songs. Students from the WDC Dance Academy also presented a power packed performance. After the performances, trendy songs played on the DJ, to which everyone grooved. Neeraj Bakshi, the singer for the night started the performance with a devotional song to Goddess Durga. He sang some Gujarati songs to hype the crowd and then sang some peppy Punjabi songs to keep the crowd engaged.
