Greater Noida: Voice of Dreamville wrapped at Exotica Dreamville

GreNo: The past few days have been memorable in sector 16's Exotica Dreamville society. Alongside the Diwali celebration, the Finale Round of Voice of Dreamville, a karaoke singing competition, was successfully held on October 23, 2022, from 6:30 p.m.

The top 3 VOD Challengers gave enthralling performances during the Diwali Mela. Around 200 people were present to enjoy the Finale round at the society premises.

The community karaoke competition Voice of Dreamville started on September 4, 2022. This musical competition was organized by Snehashish Chakravarty, a resident of the society and also a music enthusiast. There were a total of 6 rounds- 1st round, 1st Elimination- 2nd Elimination, Quarter Finals (Elimination), Semi-Finals and Finale.

Babita Sharma, Founder of the B.S. Foundation was the Chief Guest at the event. The jury included Indrani Sarkar (Vocalist and Celebrity Singer) and Sanjeev Chaudhary (AIR Radio Jockey & Music Entrepreneur).

After the finale, Shayon Upadhaya, 18 became the winner of VOD. He was awarded the VOD Trophy & Certificate, a Rs 5,100 Cash Prize, and 1 Hour of Live Show in Sound Score Studio, Noida. 1st Runners Up Jai Vardhan was awarded the VOD Trophy & Certificate + Rs 2,100 Cash Prize and 1 Hour of Live Show in Sound Score Studio, Noida and 2nd Runner Up Manuja Pandey was awarded the VOD Trophy, Certificate and Rs 1,100 Cash Prize.

Shayon Upadhaya, winner of the competition says, "Firstly, I'd want to thank the event's organiser Snehashish Chakravarty, who has been a fantastic mentor to all of us and the backbone of this event. I also want to thank our Jury members who have been the guiding force and helped me reach this milestone. I believe that events like VOD should be performed not only at a societal level, but also at a bigger scale, such as the entire Noida region/Delhi NCR. This will undoubtedly aid in recognising dormant talents and fostering them to their full potential."

Snehashish Chakravarty, the event's organizer says, "The objective of this competition was to stimulate the hidden singing talent and give a platform to residents to demonstrate their skills. All the contestants have given their best in all the performances. All Top 17 Contenders were given Participation Certificates by the esteemed jury and chief guest."
