After Diwali, it is time for Chhath celebration in the capital. With Nahay-Khae, Chhath has arrived. Chhath grounds are being prepared all over Delhi NCR and society RWA's are gearing up for the festival. This year, the first Arghya will be observed on October 30, 2022 evening and the second Arghya will be observed early morning on October 31, 2022.
The Vedic Hindu festival is mostly celebrated and is associated with praying to Lord Surya for the well-being and prosperity of family members. Men and women observe fast during Chhath puja but mostly women perform it. It is widely celebrated in eastern Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and Nepal.
