One rule in South Korea that many ardent Hallyu fans aren't a fan of is the 1957-era Conscription or military recruitment law. Recently, many of the leading actors have enlisted themselves in the compulsory military. Male celebrities from South Korea will be absent for a while. Men assigned to the Army and Marine Corps typically serve for 21 months; those transferred to the Navy serve for 23 months, and those assigned to the Air Force do for 24 months. So, we will miss our Oppas for a while.
Nam Joo Hyuk
Our favourite actor from Twenty-Five Twenty-One is currently serving in the military. His cute charms and his tall height are to die for. Also, his drama had been on the Netflix top 10 lists for a while.
Kang Tae Oh
Kang Tae Oh's portrayal as Lee Jun Ho in 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo' gave him his big break, but now it's time for him to enlist in the military. The good news for his admirers is that there are plans for a second season, in which he might return to his role as Woo Young Woo's lovely love interest (Park Eun Bin).
Sehun, an EXO member born on April 12, 1994, has made a good name for himself. Sehun has been active in music, fashion, TV, and film. Sehun is getting ready to join the military while working on his next series, 'Love, Hara High School', and playing the lead character. Though his global following will miss him, he will undoubtedly return and do so in greater shape than ever.
Kai, a '94 liner and additional EXO member, is one of the group's most recent members to enlist in the military (along with Sehun). Kai has been making the most of his time despite being busy the previous few years as a fashion star and releasing his second EP, 'Peaches'. Fans will bid the idol farewell, but there is little question that he has a lot in store for them when he returns.
Song Kang was born on April 23, 1994, and since making his acting debut in 2017 in 'The Liar and His Lover', he has distinguished himself as one of the most well-liked actors in the business. Song is prepared to enter the military after becoming famous through various programs, including 'Love Alarm' and 'Sweet Home'. Undoubtedly, many people will miss watching him on television!
Kim Min Kyu
Kim Min Kyu, who achieved enormous fame this past year for his portrayal of Cha Sung Hoon in 'A Business Proposal', will regrettably have to join the military. It is a significant year for Kim Min Kyu because he made his television debut in the series 'Monster' about ten years ago. Though tragically, his admirers would have to bid him farewell, for the time being, considering all the roles he will be playing.
