At the same place, hundreds of candles and diyas have been lit in honour of Guru Nanak Dev. Moreover, A small exhibition on the life of Guru Nanak has been organised.

Guru Prakash utsav commemorates the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the first of the ten Sikh gurus and the religion's founder. According to the lunar calendar, it is celebrated once a year on the full moon day of Kartik, which often falls between October and November.
